as valid as some of the points are, the exact same thing was done around a year ago by biffthetimid (How 2 Succeed on NG) and even further back by rtil (Flash Comedy Extravaganza). i dunno, due to those two flashes this just kinda seems irrelevant and doing nothing but pointing out the obvious

I think saying it's exactly the same is a pretty big stretch. I'll admit the concept is pretty much the same, but the format and content is different. From what I remember biffthetimid's cartooon focused mostly on Egoraptor rip-offs and an anime parody. I watched Flash Comedy Extravaganza, and it's got that one part in the end that's similar, but really the movies are different.
And besides, some of the best comedy comes from pointing out the obvious. Like George Carlin.
I'm sure you've made something that's equally as similar to something else at some point. One reviewer pointed out this movie's similarities to movies with very little in common that came out in 2000 and 2001. So, you're not original either ;)

pretty much what i was expecting and more
GREAT animation and tartakovsky style direction going on
the script and voices were a little flat/dry at times but thats totally forgivable due to the awesome, fun animation and enjoyable plot
Also, i miss the old theme :(

despite the mountain of quality in some of the submissions some of the jokes just weren't that funny and there were way too many "street fighter characters in casual situations/Hadouken jokes". i dunno apart from stampers ridiculous bit none of the parts' punchlines really surprised me.
but still this was really fuckin well made with some really really good graphics in parts, especially when sagat was playing on his 360. The opening and menu, too, were really REALLY well done. Props to Stamper and Utah for stepping their game up in that aspect. Shame there were only one or two submissions that weren't about SF2, but I suppose thats the one everyone knows and loves.
PS what the fuck happened to Catoblepas' part?
