Wow the NG Halloween contest really brought around some fucking amazing flashes this time around. The race for the prize is gonna be a close one ; )

My faves currently are Nocturnus, Jerry and the Closet, Matt Sucks, The Murderer, that one about ghosts or something, Rockoons 2 (who the fuck doesn't like that one) and plenty of others that I can't remember : / oh both the Saw spoofs are pretty cool (YES THATS RIGHT THERE IS SUCH THING AS A GOOD PARODY ON NEWGROUNDS IN THE YEAR 2008 OH MY GOD).

I put one together as well, and you should all watch it for the good of mankind ; )

It came daily 10th but has a score of 4.12 at the time of writing. that said I submitted on a mega high scoring day and the other 9 flashes were a million times better than mine anyways.

Whats everyones fave flashes been so far then? If anyone can show me something I haven't seen, then props to you. I've been digging this Halloween comp.

Rocket Crotch 1.5 is really nearly finished, but I have a mountain of uni work to get done too : / you'll love it when it's out, trust me.

ALSO I'm gonna plug these two games which havent got the frontpage at the time of writing:

SeppuKuties: Pitch black-humour crossed with clever platformin action. You control a small army of cute woodland creatures but to advance in the stages at least a few of them must perform a noble suicide in order for you to advance through the stage. The ending will make you laugh hard.

Buccaneer Battle: THIS GOT DAILY SEVENTH AND ITS FUCKING BRILLIANT. Streets of Rage crossed with pirates. I don't know how you can go wrong with that, hehe.

Weak Sleepers: a crazy fight between rtil's gang of animators and zombified versions of newgrounds 'crazes' (sprites, Awesome, Mario, internet memes etc). you'll love it.

I wanted to put RC1.5 out before this but it still isn't finished.

RCH was a refreshing break from frame by frame anyways. I went for a story/comicbook style presentation with this one.

My first flash in ages is coming out in a few days, it's a RC Halloween special and I can safely say

ITS TURNING OUT TO BE FUCKING BITCHIN'

You all better watch it once it's out on the 30th. After that, it could be anything really. RC1.5, RC2, Idiot Quest, they're all around half-finished so it's just a matter of picking, choosing, finishing and releasing. Not gonna rush, because most of the people who like my stuff (all three of them) are chilled out and cool, and I know they ain't gonna rush me ; )

Its in four segments, with Jezza and friends telling stupid Halloween stories. One segment is gonna be guest-animated by IcemanClay, better known as Chris, better known as the voice of Kaz. Its shaping up pretty awesome.

In other news, my buddy INTERO has done the impossible and COMPOSED A FULLY ORCHESTRATED THEME TUNE for Dr. Mocha. It's fucking mindblowing, and contains pieces of his first appearance in the original movie.

So yeah, Halloween flash in a few days, then RC1.5 (which has Jezza fighting a crab), then RC2 (which has Jezza fighting Dr. Mocha's grandfather), and then the sky's the limit. I'm up to my neck in uni crap too though, so don't expect that much until winter.

Sorry about not delivering over the summer too, I was too busy having fun ; )

So yeah, lets chat. Now that i've finally got over the busy stage of this year i can finally get crackin on those flashes i promised you all in the summer. First up is a Rocket Crotch mini episode, then a halloween thing (which is shaping up pretty well), and then FINALLY after nearly a fucking YEAR Rocket Crotch 2 will be coming out next month.

Yo yo yo sup sup sup

In my last post which was...one...two...THREE months ago (arghhhh) I promised 8 new movies over the summer. Yeah I failed to deliver a single one because I've been mega busy, hell I've only been on NG like once every two weeks. Its been far from a waste though cos all 8 are still greenlighted, TWO new RC eps are nearly finished (one short, one long) etc. etc. etc. Got lots of storyboards and scripts done, but I got into that annoying habit of not wanting to start anything in case I lost interest.

Anyways hows everyones summer been? I've fucking loved it, lots of beer and recording with the band and beating the band at smash bros and going to see gigs and DJing and probably the best trip to the coast I've ever had. It's been good to hang around with all my old mates again. Dark Knight rocked as was expected but I'm sure everyone's sick of hearing about that film by now. Entered the sketchbook tour but my post office is horribly disorganized so whether it managed to reach Luis on time (or even at all) is a mystery. I scanned it just in case but that totally defeats the point of it in a way

Also I played castle crashers at a friends' house, and its fucking amazing. World needed a 4-player beat-em-up like the old Konami arcade ones (TMNT, Simpsons, etc etc) and god its just so enjoyable and well put together.

Seeing as the good weather in Britain is gone for at least another 8 months, I'm gonna be spending a lot of rainy days makin' movies for you all. Planning to up my profile a bit and just get known I guess. Known enough so I'll be recognized at next years comic con anyways ;-)

PS: if anyone's still playing super smash bros, FC is 1633-6287-6015. i havent had it as long as most so i'm itchin for some crazy battles

8 MOVIES ARE COMIN OUT THIS SUMMER by ME. I feel like I owe you guys cos I havent submitted anything in ages and my last movie was a three-evening joke featuring some fruity man reviewing vidyo gaymes

Then I've got this huge-ass movie coming out at the end of August that I scripted sometime last December, holy shit. 3 of these 8 movies are Rocket Crotch related, just to let you guys know the series isnt dead =) In fact its barely starting haha

Other stuff includes a music vid and some other comedy crapola, so yeah its gonna be a good summer if you like coffee-themed baddies and robot crabs and my shitty drawings. Dr. Mocha is appearing in the Mastermind game too (the new strategy one), which will be awesome and kickass and sexy

Simply make the plot any of these 6 things:

1. Family/kid gets a new pet it dies
2. Man goes on an acid trip he then dies
3. Man or kid is frustrated then they die
4. The end of the flash's story loops around to the beginning WHAT A TWIST
5. Person cries for the entire flash they then get beat up, dying is optional
6. Steve the Tankman sings Linkin Park's 'Numb' it is implied that he dies.

Two lighthearted flashes this month, then a long overdue dose of Rocket Crotch in May plus some other crap, making for 5 flashes to come in the next 45 days!!!!! How ace is that?
